Bianyifang Roast Duck Restaurant was founded in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1416 AD). It is one of the first batch of "Chinese time-honored brands" recognized by the Ministry of Commerce of China. Its unique roast duck cooking skills were listed in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list in 2008. It has a cultural history of more than 600 years. In 1552, Yang Jisheng, a member of the Ministry of War, wrote a plaque, making "Bianyifang" famous. In 1958, Premier Zhou Enlai dined at Bianyifang Restaurant and interpreted "cheap" as "convenient for the people and suitable for the home", giving the time-honored brand a new spiritual connotation. Bianyifang insists on keeping the integrity and innovation, and presents the perfect roast duck with the comprehensive presentation of "duck fragrance, sauce fragrance, onion fragrance, and pancake fragrance".
